Every spring, the Carlton County Riders ATV Club gather to cleanup the garbage and trash that accumulates on highway 1 between Carlton and Wrenshall Minnesota. It is incredible the amount of trash that accumulates on the highway shoulders, some interesting artifacts and hazardous materials are collected and bagged up for disposal by the county highway department. This is yet another example of our club's service to the community and to provide a safe and clean environment. Join us!
Once again, CCriders went out on the Saginaw grade to raise funds for the Disabled American Veterans organization. From the rock toss to the 6-5-4 dice game to the duck pond at the union station the crew of volunteers were working hard to raise money for our veterans. The club raised over $1,000 to donate to the DAV, and everyone who happened to come by were very happy to try their luck, have some fun, and donate to such a worthy cause. The club also had two of our trail ambassadors to survey the trail and report back to the DNR the trail damage caused by our severe winter.
This is another example of the club's service to our community while we enjoy the great outdoors!
Another successful training class was presented by the CCRiders ATV club. We had over 50 kids and their parents attend the session at the Moose Horn Rod and Gun Club clubhouse in Barnum
